CO:67 Learn to record muscle twitch, understanding muscle contraction. Demonstrate knee jerk reflex, understanding basic neurological reflexes.

CO:68 Prepare mounts of epithelium, muscle fibers, and nerve cells, improving microscopy skills.

CO:69 Study permanent slides of various mammalian tissues, enhancing histology knowledge.

CO:70 Master microtomy for preparing tissue slides, improving technical skills in slide preparation.

CO:71 Demonstrate skills and record the concepts in the form of practical file and reflect on personal learning experiences and experimental outcomes during viva voce.

CONTENTS:
1. Recording of simple muscle twitch with electrical stimulation (or Virtual)
2. Demonstration of the unconditioned reflex action (Deep tendon reflex such as knee jerk reflex)
3. Preparation of temporary mounts: Squamous epithelium, Striated muscle fibres and nerve cells
4. Study of permanent slides of Mammalian skin, Cartilage, Bone, Spinal cord, Nerve cell, Pituitary, Pancreas, Testis, Ovary, Adrenal, Thyroid and Parathyroid
5. Microtomy: Preparation of permanent slide of any mammalian tissue.
