Students will:

CO170: Develop an understanding of research aptitude

CO171: Investigate new avenues, with the aim that a candidate does an extensive literature survey on a topic of choice and further takes up a project or dissertation on the same topic in the subsequent semester.

CO172: Differentiate and evaluate the principles of good writing: Building the simplest possible words and sentences into concise, well-ordered arguments, using the paragraph as the basic unit of composition.

CO173: Appraise and understand the application of statistics on data, in creating figures, graphs or other visual representations of data.
