The students will CO50: Evaluate the tools used in molecular genetics, and their potential applications to life sciences. CO51: Examine the basic concepts in Genetic Engineering and Cloning. CO52: Deduce the use of Biotechnology in Medicine CO53: Conceptualize how the innate and adaptive immune responses coordinate to fight invading pathogens. CO54: Predict how immune modulatory strategies can be used to enhance immune responses or to suppress unwanted immune responses such as might be required in hypersensitivity reactions, transplantations or autoimmune diseases. |
